Founded by Zach Lindstrom over a decade ago, Xtreme Coatings was built on observing a frustrating industry trend: homeowners and businesses were paying for concrete coatings that peeled and bubbled after just one Minnesota winter.
The problem was rarely the paint. The problem was the preparation. Zach realized that if you treat floor preparation as a strict, non-negotiable science, the coatings will hold permanently. That realization became the foundation of our company. Diamond grinding removes surface laitance, opens the concrete pores, and ensures that our coatings achieve a permanent mechanical bond. Shortcuts in prep lead to peeling floors. We do not take them.

We strictly specify materials from industry leaders like Sherwin-Williams, Torginol, and Ultra-Durable Technologies. These are not consumer-grade big-box store kits.
