Thorough Process

We won’t claim a “One-Day Install.” Why? We want to be honest and upfront with you: In some cases, we can do a one-day install, but we feel a 2-day system is more effective in most cases.

Epoxy Install Day 1

The first step in applying an excellent concrete floor coating is grinding the floor to create a flat, smooth surface free from dirt and grime. The Xtreme Coatings team utilizes top-of-the-line equipment that virtually eliminates the dust that grinding can create. Next, we’ll repair any cracks or holes in the floor before priming the epoxy. Finally, we add the flakes to the floor.

Epoxy Install Day 2

We pick up excess flakes and apply the clear coat to kick off the final day of your epoxy floor coating installation. Xtreme Coatings uses a polyaspartic clear coat epoxy that is extra durable against yellowing, tire tracks, heat, UV radiation, and scratches. Finally, we add an anti-slip top coat to keep your floor functional. Additionally, on Day 2, we add any add-ons, like a urethane top coat, for extra protection and chemical resistance.
